Online Edexcel Chemistry Tuition
Edexcel sets its own question style and mark schemes, distinct from Cambridge or the UK GCSE boards — so lessons and practice here are built around Edexcel specifically, rather than general Chemistry content that happens to overlap with it.
Qualifications Covered
International GCSE and International A Level are two separate qualifications, not one course at two speeds.
International GCSE Chemistry
Often called "Edexcel IGCSE" — the earlier stage, distinct from Cambridge IGCSE.
Resources →International A Level Chemistry
The advanced qualification that follows International GCSE.
Resources →Topical Practice
Each lesson focuses on one topic at a time — concept first, then practice on that same topic — rather than moving through the specification in order regardless of what's already secure.
Worksheets
Topic-wise worksheets for both Edexcel qualifications are being organised so practice always matches whatever's just been taught. See what's available so far.
Quick-Check MCQs
Quick-check multiple-choice questions for each topic are being added, for testing recall and spotting gaps between lessons — a fast way to confirm a concept has actually stuck before moving on to the next one.
Marking Schemes That Show the Mark Allocation
Full mark schemes for the longer questions are being added alongside the topical practice, so students can see exactly what a full-mark answer needs to include under Edexcel's own marking style — where the marks in a multi-step answer actually sit, not just whether the final number came out right.

Step 2
Free demo lesson
The demo covers the student's current International GCSE or International A Level topics and where they're finding things hardest.
Step 3
Regular sessions
Lessons are scheduled around the student's own timetable.
Step 4
Concept, then practice
Each session builds the concept properly before moving into topical or exam-style practice.
Exam Preparation
Exam technique — reading the command word correctly, structuring a longer answer, not losing marks on questions the student actually understood — is built into lessons rather than left until the final weeks. This is preparation, not a guarantee of any particular grade.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an official Edexcel or Pearson website?
No. This is an independent Chemistry tuition and resource site — it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of Pearson Edexcel.
Is Edexcel IGCSE the same as Edexcel International GCSE?
Yes — Edexcel's qualification is officially called International GCSE; “IGCSE” is just the common shorthand for it. It's a different qualification from Cambridge IGCSE, which is a separate board's specification.
What's the difference between International GCSE and International A Level Chemistry?
International GCSE is the earlier stage; International A Level is the more advanced qualification that follows it, covering organic, physical and inorganic chemistry in greater depth.
Are online Edexcel Chemistry lessons one-to-one?
Lessons are available one-to-one or in small groups, depending on what suits the student.
Do you provide Edexcel Chemistry practice questions?
Topic-wise worksheets, theory questions, MCQs and mark schemes for both Edexcel qualifications are being added — see the resources section below for what’s available so far.
